Spicewood Estates

We are an attractive, well-maintained community in a prime part of Northwest Austin. We enjoy homes with individuality and character situated on well-proportioned lots wooded with mature trees.

We take time to be neighbors.  Acquaintances and friendships among homeowners play a vital part in upholding the appeal and safety of our neighborhood.  We have a great mix of original homeowners and newer families who look out for one another and enjoy neighborly visits.

May 2025: Spicewood Estates Becomes a Firewise Community

Starting in May, SEHA is organizing to become an active Firewise Community. The community is when neighbors implement measures to protect their homes from wildfire and work together in case of a fire or storm emergency. Homeowners can have their homes assessed for wildfire risk. You will get specific recommendations based on aggregate knowledge from the nation’s experiences.

To have your home evaluated, you can send an email to:
safety@spicewoodestates.com

Or fill out the Austin Fire Department assessment request form directly: AFD Structure Ignition Zone Evaluation (SIZE) Interest Form

The SEHA wildfire committee will update neighbors as more plans and activities for fire mitigation develop. In the meantime, for more information about the program and/or getting involved, email: safety@spicewoodestates.com
